This is not the first time we've stayed here, we love it, and our kids love it.We're having Thanksgiving here with all our kids, couldn't ask for a nicer location.

Lovely place but a little dated.Clean and well stocked kitchenette. It would be a good place for families as it is right next to the beach. There is a very nice mini-golf down the street.Quite close to a good selection of restaurants.Nothing to complain about for sure.

The location is great. Our room was on the upper level, just a few steps from the beach, nice outdoor grass to play with kids and have barbecues. The rooms are clean, comfortable and staff very friendly. It's our gateway tradition every year.

Beautiful resort on the fabulous Rathtrevor beach, where the ocean retreats about a kilometre at low tide. Very expensive in the summer, but an amazing experience for families, especially with children. Get a beach unit if you can as it’s about ten seconds from your patio to the sand. Otherwise it’s five minutes straight downhill on foot.

Awesome resort. Friendly staff and unbeatable location. Book early. You are paying for the location, not for room quality. The units are comfortable and clean but you are there to spend time outside… keep that in mind. We have stayed here every summer for 16 years. Love it!

Beautiful and satisfying experience at Madrona Beach Resort! We stayed in 16-A unit which we found spotless and very private, on arrival. Everything we needed was in the unit, all the pots and pans and utensils. We enjoyed our evenings sitting in the ocean view backyard with our propane fire pit , which we made sure was allowed. Weather was just perfect to watch the moonrise, at night, a truly surreal experience ! Loved the calm! Can’t wait to be back next time! Very nice and helpful staff. Good value for money.
